When Jim Bolin thinks about constructing a new sculpture, he considers the visitor's journey and what unique spots he would like for them to discover along the way. The barbershop in Casey is a perfect example of a traditional small town icon. If you're a male from Casey, it's likely you've had your hair cut by Tina or one of the barbers who have owned the shop over the years. What better than a giant spinning Barbershop Pole to pull the visitor's eye to this retro favorite.  

They must not shave their heads or let their hair grow long, but they are to keep the hair of their heads trimmed
